About the author:


Educator, linguist, and homeschooling parent, Kimberly Reyes has over 20 years of classroom teaching experience. She is the author of ABC’s of Turtle Island, a book dedicated to the youth of Native America, as well as 7 Educational Coloring Books and a Cookbook.


An alumna of the Teachers College at Columbia University, she also holds a bachelor’s degree in World History and a master’s degree in Political Science. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Kimberly also speaks fluent Italian, French and Portuguese. She has lived and worked on five continents, teaching everything from preschool through postgraduate courses.


In her free time she is a voracious reader, lover of the written word and passionate home cook.
