My Review:

I give Queen's Catacombs ⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2!

I received Queen's Catacombs before Contest of Queens so I started reading it right away. I couldn't put it down and when I received the first book I started reading BOTH at the same time 😅. But before you read on make sure to read my review of Contest of Queens.

So now Jacs is Queen but it's never easy being a leader and she soon learns this lesson. As in our government, it would take a total wipe of Congress to find results. She soon learns that the Lord's and Advisor's deceit runs deep.

Bartlett doesn't disappoint in her world building and we go deeper into the Catacombs and find other worlds, and new viewpoints like those of the Undercourt, which is chilling.

Jacs and Conner's relationship is tested. Conner still believes in the Council and how they were loyal to his mother. But the deception is yawning and Jacs doesn't trust them and rightly so.

I wish there was more action but overall, this is an absolutely great sequel to Contest of Queens. I know Jacs journey isn't complete and I highly anticipate the next book.
