I remember when I was a fan of New Kids on the Block and my friends and I would pretend which band member was our pretend boyfriend. My sister always took Jordon, my friend took Joey, and soon Jon, Mark, and Donnie were taken. Sorry, Danny. So when I got the opportunity to read a K-pop romance I was like, yeah, the right stuff! 🙂
The author does a wonderful job making this a light and fun romance. The characters are likable and the struggle between the two love birds feels real. I do like that the love interest for the boy band Romeo is also a successful model. This seems more believable than him meeting Jane Doe, who works at a coffee shop, and falling in love. With that said, I do feel it was too easy for the two heroes to work it out. I wanted more strife. But that could just be me.
Overall, if you're a fan of K-pop or have someone in your life who’s a K-pop fan then you found a fun read. Be sure to order your copy today and also read all the other books in the series.
